R.H.Y.M.E Rhymes help young minds excel is an educational Hip Hop, music and mentoring youth program at Thrive Collective, a NYC arts non profit creating hope and opportunity in and around NYC schools through the arts and mentoring.
RHYME encourages, empowers, and equips students with mic skills and life skills by teaching the art of rap and songwriting. Embedded within the art are transferable skills and principles such as communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and self confidence. Students write, perform, and record original songs; produce music videos; and distribute them both online.
