Happy New Year! Thanks a ton for supporting our work in Hip Hop, music and mentoring. Check out this video featuring the latest from our R.H.Y.M.E students. This song was written by 5th grade scholars at the Bronx Arts Elementary school in partnership with Thrive Collective, The Point CDC, Projectivity and La Bodega Studio. The beat was produced and provided by Christian Penn of Thrive Collective and Projectivity. I had the privilege of facilitating as lead teaching artist. The song is about youth pursuing their goals and dreams amid adversity. A message that definitely resonates especially in times like these. Thanks for watching, sharing and supporting.
