Drummer Jam in The Bronx

Thank you to everyone who helped bring Drummer Jam to life! I wasn't sure if anyone would show up on a rainy Saturday afternoon but we stuck to the plan and praise God the people showed up!

Drummer Jam included an interactive concert, delicious food, and a percussion workshop where kids assembled, designed, and played cardboard cajon drums that they got to keep at the end.

Special thanks to the Bronx Council on The Arts for sponsoring the event, Janice and the Archer school for donating drums, Lukas Baron for the flyer, Eric for filming, Jason at Empanology for the food, Bascom for more food, Barbara at The Point CDC for the space, Luis at The Point CDC for the lighting, Marina and Jaz for the set up and for helping with the children, the Mason kids for being great roadies, Jamel for playing keys, Thrive Collective and R.H.Y.M.E the home team, Justo, Joe, Manny, Octavia, Maria and Rob, Charlotte and Cecelia, Collin and Jen for coming through with the family and of course to all of the children.
